The Institute comprises an active group of scientists and engineers with a high level of expertise in design, simulation, characterization, synthesis, fabrication and integration of nanoscale materials, devices, and systems. The researchers are drawn from the Faculty in the School of Engineering, the School of Arts and Sciences, and the Schools of Health Sciences, and they form highly cross-disciplined and yet flexible/reconfigurable teams for various research topics that deal with major challenges in nanoscience and engineering.
