Ravi Shankar's primary research interests include synthesis and thermo-mechanical characterization of nano-materials for structural and bio-medical applications. He is currently involved in the areas of large-scale manufacture of nano-materials by severe plastic deformation as well as development of thermally-stable, ductile nanostructured metal alloy systems.
