Industry CAP Benefits

What are the benefits of being a member?

  • Password-protected access to a Web site containing resumes of Pitt Engineering honors students, members of engineers minority societies, and graduate students. This site gives your recruiters the opportunity to proactively seek our best students for full-time positions, co-op rotations, or internships before coming to campus for interviews and job fairs.
  • A prominent four-color poster to help build your company's visibility among our students. These are located in the school's busiest area on the first floor, near student organization offices and the school's student lounge.
  • A faculty liaison assigned directly to you and your company. This faculty member will be an expert in your company's field, with an inherent understanding of your company's products and needs. From this relationship, additional opportunities for sponsored-research or other collaborations may evolve.
  • Year-round recognition in the school's print and electronic media outlets.
  • A "Day on Campus" exclusively for your company, tailored to meet your specific needs. CAP members may use their Day on Campus to:
    • Give technical presentations in specific classes.
    • Meet with relevant student organizations.
    • Visit with key faculty and research staff.
    • Interview students for full-time positions or co-op and internship opportunities.
    • Place your promotional display and company literature at a table in our lobby to interact with students throughout the day.
